Amanda Gould
Amanda Gould, a nehiyaw iskwew (Cree Woman) from Fort McMurray First Nation, Treaty 8 territory, was raised in Treaty 6 territory and has been a visitor to many Indigenous communities. She has a Masters Level Diploma in Art Therapy, BA in Native Studies, Certificate in Indigenous Governance and Partnerships, and is currently working on Advanced Leadership certification. Amanda is a passionate advocate of community-led approaches to gender-based justice, with a long history of involvement around Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit. She is a professional who brings the Two-Eyed Seeing approach into her work from developing initiatives, course development, needs assessments, policies and standards of practice, and workshop development to facilitation. Amanda ensures that the work is culturally appropriate and inclusive. Amanda has professional registration with the Canadian Art Therapy Association.
